PandoLogic

PandoLogic acquired Wade & Wendy in May of 2021, before being acquired by Veritone in September of 2021. I was responsible for merging these previously independent sales practices into one unified function. 

I transitioned 100% of both client and sales pipeline successfully and worked with senior leadership to rebrand the newly merged offerings, educate managers and sellers, and modernize compensation plans.

Wade & Wendy (Acquired by PandoLogic)

Wade & Wendy afforded me the opportunity to build a sales organization of my own. When the CEO told me that this Series-A startup had no pitch, no process, and no prospects, I eagerly came aboard. 

I wrote our sales playbook entirely, which led to signing W&W’s first Fortune 500 logos in Comcast, McGraw-Hill, and Bureau Veritas (3 year, $200k ARR deals). I won the award for “Best Sales Presentation” at HR Tech Alliances 2020, over 50 other SAAS organizations, and hired associates to help run our sales machine and marketing efforts as our market presence grew. 

When Wade & Wendy was acquired by PandoLogic in 2021, I was fortunate to have been member of the Merger & Acquisition team, presenting the revenue side of W&W to all potential acquirers.

Yext

Yext boasts a robust strategic partnership network, with agreements for companies such as Verizon, Yahoo, YellowPages and others to re-sell the Yext platform in tandem with their own products. 

I was hand-picked by Yext Senior Leadership to work on-site with these strategic partners, installing and facilitating a repeatable re-selling process. This required work with the partners’ senior leaders to architect a proper strategy, front-line management to create benchmarks, and with sales teams directly to educate and excite, creating an affinity for Yext. 

My teams at Verizon, Yahoo, and YellowPages saw their revenue baselines grow by 12%, 17%, and 27% respectively, and I was honored by Yext, Inc. in 2017 with an award for Growth of the Partner Ecosystem.

Sales Manager, Partner Enablement

The youngest manager in Yext history, I was promoted not only to manage sales teams, but also to run a rigid “$20k in 40 days” sales program from which I had graduated. At one point, I was responsible for the greatest number of direct reports of any people-manager in the company. 

Prior to my time as an Inside Sales Manager, only 25% of sales hires achieved the $20k in 40 days. I not only brought this discouraging rate up to 70%, but also increased AE longevity from an average of 12 months to 24 months. Furthermore, ACV increased by almost 10% and department revenue increased by 40% during my tenure. In 2016, I was honored by Yext, Inc. with an award for Excellence in Leadership. 

I am most proud of developing a team culture focused on earned trust. This approach revitalized a formerly stagnant department and paved the way for many members of the team to earn well deserved promotions into leadership roles within Yext.

When Yext filed its IPO in 2016, I organized and reported our department’s financials for audit, modernized the sales compensation plan, and implemented new company-wide branding ubiquitously.

Inside Sales Manager

Yext facilitated a rigid “$20k in 40 days” requirement for new sales hires (only 25% of hires succeeded) – I achieved this goal ahead of schedule and became a top seller at Yext, consistently beating my $90k quarterly goal. I was a staple for new hires to shadow, was selected by management to test new revenue pockets and pricing structures, and was honored by my department with awards for Dedication in both 2012 and 2013.
