5. Focus intensely on chosen opportunities
6. Understand when to switch strategies
7. Utilize a flexible thinking approach
8. Adjust only when it’s needed

That is the shortcut to making maximum progress.


Your time and energy are your best assets.
Using them wisely is your responsibility.

Goals don’t actually matter..


Best selling author Mark Manson once said:

“Your goals should serve you, not the other way around”

And here’s the interesting thing..

Most best selling self-help authors will tell you that; Setting goals is overrated. 


What does that mean? 

People rely too much on self discipline.
They don’t focus enough on building habits.

They take shortcuts and harm themselves more.
↳ Like starving yourself to lose weight, or cheating to get a good grade on a test.


So what do the experts suggest?

- Don’t focus on the goals themselves
- Focus on habits and systems
- Those make you achieve your goals

5 habits that 2x your energy and output. 


Your life is an sum of your habits

These 5 will make it better:


1. Make 'no' your default.

If it's not an obvious yes, it's a no.
Always saying yes = burnout
Be protective of your time.


2. Create (and maintain) boundaries.

If you don't respect your boundaries,
No one else will either.


3. Differentiate “urgent” from “important”

Work deadlines  → Urgent.
Quality time with family → Important.
There’s a time and a place for both. 


4. Stop multitasking. 

Spend your best hours on your #1 priority.
Prioritise 1 thing at a time.


5. Prioritize sleep.

1 less hour of sleep = hours of lost productivity.
1 extra hour of sleep > 1 extra hour of work

The 5 Parts of Successful Change:

1. A clear Vision of where you’re going.
2. Incentives for you to want the change.
3. The Skills we need to work in the new way.
4. Resources and time to complete the change.
5. A step-by-step Action Plan on how to change.


What happens when something’s missing?

• No clear vision = confusion.  • Lack of incentives = resistance.
• Missing required skills = anxiety.  • Insufficient resources = frustration.  • A missing action plan = false starts.

It’s not just about willpower and grit.
It’s about planning and strategy.
