My first journey to make it big in life began with my preparation to get into the best engineering institute in the country. After 2 years of ups and downs, I got into one of the most amazing private engineering institutes of the country VIT, Vellore(NIRF Ranking-16 2018). Right out of college, I started working for a US Based Healthcare IT Firm Cerner Healthcare. It was a proud moment realizing that the software we built at Cerner Healthcare directly impacted the life of a patient and our Softwares helped the nurses and doctors do their job more efficiently. Our solutions were directly assisting doctors in avoiding preventable medical errors (To put thinrgs into context, preventable medical errors are the third-leading cause of death in the U.S causing more than 250,000 deaths per year which is more than 150,000 deaths caused by respiratory diseases). After working in Cerner as a software developer and later as an associate senior developer for almost 3 years, my curiosity to be a part of the decision-making value chain drove me on my journey to give CAT and later Join Indian Institute of Management, Raipur. Courses on Analytics and Marketing, Brand Building, Digital Marketing, Organizational behavior have fascinated me a lot during the last year of my MBA Journey. I love reading about Human psychology and consumer behavior patterns interest me a lot. My summer internship experience in DCM Shriram as a sales and marketing intern has helped me understand the ground realities of Poly Vinyl Chloride and Calcium Carbide B2B businesses from the perspective of a consumer and understand their pain points through my primary research. Throughout my MBA journey, I hope to understand the nitty-gritty of business and inculcate as much perspective as I possibly can through my interaction with industry leaders, domain mentors, and fellow colleagues.
