I’ve been obsessed with olive oil ever since I was a child. Even if I tried, I couldn’t explain to you why. Aged 9, I went on a trip to Portugal, and tasted something completely different to what I was used to at home, in Lebanon. And that's when my awakening happened. There’s 1600 varieties of olives around the world, and each olive will give you a different tasting oil. In that beautiful moment in Portugal, I actually tasted the difference. It’s by no surprise that I trained as an olive oil sommelier, and was eventually selected as an international olive oil judge. Equipped with my expertise, I began working with farms across the Mediterranean to bring you a selection of craft olive oil so you can taste the difference, too.
