My journey as an entrepreneur, combined with my background in psychology, has taught me that I’m not simply valuing a business—I’m appraising something uniquely cherished, much like a fine piece of art. At Eiffel Peak Capital, I led efforts in principal investments and advisory services, securing ownership stakes in four companies by focusing on market position, financial strength, and growth potential. I provided strategic guidance to portfolio companies, including market research, private offering structuring, and branding, to prepare them for successful capital raising in private markets. Leveraging relationships with institutional and family office investors, I delivered due diligence and research insights on alternative investments, private placements, and small-cap public companies, addressing inefficiencies in capital markets.

ExemptAnalyst became the largest financial research firm in Canada that specialized in Private Debt and Equity. Under William's leadership, ExemptAnalyst became well known by formally conducting due diligence on over 200 Private Equity and Debt Transactions. 

Clients included multiple Exempt Market Dealers, Portfolio Managers, Pension Funds, IIROC and Mutual Fund Dealers. William provided opinion on transactions in thirteen countries including Canada, USA, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, St. Lucia, Dominican Republic, China, Kenya, Hungary and Taiwan. ExemptAnalyst covered many sectors including Oil and Gas, Real Estate, Leasing, Agriculture, Financial, Biotech, Technology, Hedge Funds, Solar, Hydro and Oil Services. 

ExemptAnalyst was featured in Alberta Venture Magazine in 2011. William also wrote the first whitepaper on the Exempt Market, which focused on the industry's cost structures. ExemptAnalyst was fully acquired by Pinnacle Wealth Brokers in September 2012.
