Objective of the Role:
 
• Defines the long-term local HR strategy and ensures alignment with Global HR Policy and local business strategy. Delivers sufficient results for continuous improvement. Ensures compliance for all local HR processes.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
• Structure, lead and motivate the local HR-organizations (Dhaka, Mawna, Chittagong) according business needs and ensure a customer orientated HR organization
 

• Steer all Group HR-processes on local level (Performance Reviews, Salary Reviews, Succession Plans, Engagement Improvements, etc.) and define necessary follow up actions.
 
• Initiates and leads the yearly labour cost and headcount planning and budget process.
 
• Responsible for the local C&B structure, ensuring a legally compliant payroll execution and competitive C&B conditions.
 

• Act as an accepted HR business partner at eye level with the pear HOD´s of the local organization and offer consultancy in the area of organizational and leadership development.
 

• Ensures and implements well working HR and organizational development structures, drives continuous improvement of leadership and people development based on the needs defined by local business strategy
 

• Takes care that all company activities are in accordance with ILO (International Labour Organization) regulations and meeting international social responsibility standards.
 

• Makes sure that cooperation with local Unions, Workers Councils or any other bodies of codetermination is on sufficient level.
 

• Defines monitors and communicates local HR KPl's as well as the labour cost controlling. Defines targets and initiates actions in terms of any deviation.
 

• Builds and maintains a well working communication with Global HR and other HQ-Functions where needed
 
• Establishes the Amann employer brand on the local market as an attractive employer by modern HR marketing instruments

Country Head of HR & Admin

Conduct Employee Engagement Survey in all AMANN Asia countries with the support of HR team in different countries.

Accumulate and Present the results and recommendations to all the Country GMs in Asia.

Global Employee Engagement Survey Project Lead - Asia

- Policy & Procedure: To develop, upgrade and implement HR policies up to a reasonably acceptable standard for establishing smooth HR operation within the company and make sure that the policies are duly implemented

- Recruitment & Staffing: Assisting the Management in recruitment, selection, promotion, disciplinary action etc.

- Legal & IR Issues: Resolve technical conflicts that have a legal or financial impact on the company's assets, Human Resources, proactively and in consultation with HODs / Managing Director.

- Reporting: Prepare devise and upgrade a good reporting standard and submit on regular fashion to HODs / Managing Director in order to establish transparent HR Culture.

- Documentation Management: Timely submit the Group Report to Amann Group, Germany and make liaison with Group HR. Play the role of company custodian for preservation/conservation of company confidential documents, personal file of the employees, agreements in safe and sound manner.

- Succession & Performance Management: Responsible for preparing and implementing strategies for career development of all employees by ensuring that succession plans and career path are established.

- Learning & Development: Undertake skill improvement drive as per individual employee's evaluation requirement

Health & Safety: My core responsibility includes driving safety culture inside plant by ensuring Visible Felt Leadership Role, indentifying potential hazards in the plant and initiating solution and ensures every employee meets safety training manhour target of 12 hours per year. In addition to that as an L&D professional, I have to develop, update and track Safety Training Matrix to develop employees as per organization’s need, identify performance gaps and initiate gap minimization plan.
