Hi, I'm Meaghan. I began my career working in digital journalism and digital content marketing. In 2020, I joined an early-stage startup as the company’s ninth hire (and the first business-side hire). My role as a Marketing Associate required me to wear many hats - including serving as a member of the hiring team for all new business-side hires. This experience introduced me to the world of talent acquisition, and I quickly developed a deep passion for recruiting and hiring. I pitched a new role for myself to join my company's talent team - and I got the job! I've worked in recruiting ever since.

Things I love: skiing, soccer, the ocean ☀️

Today is my first day on the job as a full-time entrepreneur.

I launched TideShift back in 2023, not fully knowing what it would evolve into.

I’ve always maintained a full-time role while I’ve continued to build TideShift in the late evenings (sometimes very late 😴) and on the weekends whenever I had spare time.

But I’m excited to go all-in on this path - starting, well, right now.

As we enter the homestretch of 2025, here’s what I’m most pumped for in 2026:

- Freeing up more time to help more jobseekers boost their confidence, tell their stories more effectively, and convert interviews into offers 🤝

- Pushing myself to promote my services in venues that are outside of my comfort zone (say hello to more in-person networking events! I’m hosting my next one in January, stay tuned my Rhode Island peeps ☀️)

- Leveling-up my understanding of the shifting workplace & being a source of truth for the folks who read my daily LinkedIn content - keeping you in the loop on how to ride the AI wave is a top priority of mine 🧠

- Re-committing to embodying two of my favorite mantras:
1.) “What you focus on expands”
2.) “If you chase two rabbits, you catch zero” 🧘‍♀️

- Feeling like myself again. It’s been a long couple of years, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say that there have been (plenty of) days where my head never stopped spinning. 🧡
