Leads partnerships with mobile carriers as well as with mobile start ups.  He established a joint venture with Telefónica and LG to manufacture and sell 4M phones for the Latin America consumer market rolling out to 13 countries in 2010. To complement the Microsoft/LG/Telefonica deal Manuel worked to build up co-development alliances with high-performing mobile companies such as Kinoma, NIM, etc.
