Thumbelina Lillie began in my bedroom in October 2012 and has been live ever since. My personal interest blog has a primary focus on beauty, but occasionally features fashion posts, lifestyle features as well as baking and advice topics. Writing is just the beginning; I am the photographer, the editor, the content creator and the dreamer.

Thumbelina Lillie has collaborated with numerous brands over the past four years, including GHD, Benefit Cosmetics, ASOS and Topshop. I was shortlisted in the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards in 2013 in the 'Best New Beauty Blog' category, from 43 000 blogs to 14. The following year, I was shortlisted in the 'Best Established Beauty Blog' category where I came away with the Highly Commended prize.

I have recently been taken on as a Tea Lady at The Olde Young Tea House in Middlesbrough, which is a regional and national winning business; Winning Independent Business of the Year 2014. 

There I have several responsibilities with the main being keeping up and delivering exceptional customer service and assisting in creating a homely atmosphere. I help with the open and close of the Tea House, participating in many jobs to keep the daily activities running smoothly.

I completed a short placement at Tilly, Bailey & Irvine Law in the Marketing department whilst in my third year at University. There I was educated on how marketing works within a law firm and the similarities and differences it has compared to what I have learnt within my studies.
