Social Media Manager

One You Lincolnshire

📲 Social media strategist and account manager for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Organic and paid advertising. Account optimisation. Campaign creation.

Placement working with vulnerable and challenging disadvantaged young people aged 13-16years at an alternative provision education centre.

Taught small groups and one-to-one. Mixed abilities from non-English speaking and minimal maths skills right up to GCSE level. 

Planning and preparation of lessons and trips. 

Support and overnight sleeps for 1 week residential trip. 

Carried out observations and feedback to help inform positive behaviour plans and interventions for challenging students.

Visits to other alternative provisions within the area and attended staff meetings.

Work experience placement at Shortwood House dementia and residential home for the elderly. Keeping residents company, building rapport, serving hot drinks and food, being a friendly, smiley face and comforting residents when distressed.

Work experience placement. Lead creative activity projects over the Christmas period such as hand making decorations for adults with learning disabilities.

My background is in psychology and workplace health and wellbeing.

Currently, I’m working in marketing for a global tech leader in the mental health space. I’m most excited about our latest project providing accessible mental health support to youth in the U.K.
