Welcome to my profile! This is where I'm supposed to write a bunch of paragraphs explaining my education and career background, so... I studied Advertising at University, didn't particularly enjoy the course but, I got the piece of paper. I then started my first Marketing role in 2014 and have been working in the industry ever since, with a couple of career breaks along the way. That's it in a nut shell. Now, if you want to know about me as a person, then buckle up. I'm an outgoing, bubbly character (90% of the time), but equally I like to sit in solitude on my own with a good book. I love, love, love to travel! I won't use annual leave for anything but holidays, and I don't mind whether I go away with friends, family or even on my own - I'm a strong independent woman (except when it comes to directions, then I need Google Maps hehe). I'm a huge advocate for discussing mental health and trying to take the stigma away from it. I myself have had my own bouts of anxiety and depression and have also gone through therapy and quite frankly, if there's one thing I'm learning from it, it's that it's allowing me to grow and evolve as an individual. I currently work at co&co, a marketing agency based in Manchester, and whilst this is my first experience of working in an agency, I think I'm going to love it! Particularly with working on multiple accounts and projects and having that variety in my day-to-day work.
