Managed the marketing, communications and public relations strategies for 7 territories covering the United States and Latin America. Career highlights included: 

Re-built company’s trade show and event strategy, which achieved a better return on investment on cultivating leads and customer retention for individual territories.  

Executed the marketing development and launch of 7 fertilizer product brands, including the company’s first-ever certified organic product line. 

Managed product label regulatory oversight and government registrations, as well as all intellectual property, trademarks, logos and patents for 17 product lines. 

Led the development of a new streamlined website and social media presence that resulted in more progressive lead generation and prospect nurturing.

California Fresh Fruit Association

Now known as the California Fresh Fruit Association, the California Grape & Tree Fruit League is a voluntary, nonprofit agricultural trade association represents 95% of California’s tree fruit industry and 85% of the state’s fresh grape industry and advocates on behalf of its members on legislative and regulatory issues, at state, federal and international levels.

Responsibilities included recruiting and maintaining membership with California’s top producers in the fresh fruit industry and worked to educate the 350 member companies about newly adopted and potential regulations that effect their operations.

The Fresno Chamber of Commerce serves as the Central Valley’s largest Chamber and, on behalf of its 1,200 members, works to strengthen the region’s economy by encouraging growth and identifying needs and opportunities within the business community.

Responsible for cultivating strong working relationships with City, County, State and Federal elected officials, executing all politically oriented events including State of the City, State of the County, Valley Business Conference and Eggs & Issues, and developing all internal and external messaging.

An award-winning marketing, advertising and public relations firm recognized for its success in developing effective and influential community involvement and public relations programs for clients ranging from large-scale events, banking, real estate, food service and agribusiness sectors. 

Responsible for managing and maintaining client relationships, which included but not limited to designing, writing and distributing key communication tools, maintaining and expanding media relations, and executing communication programs, community and governmental outreach, special events and media relations for three primary clients within the Fresno area – The Big Fresno Fair, DeYoung Properties and Central Valley Community Bank.

Agriculture is in my DNA. Born and raised in Fresno County on my family’s fresh grape, raisin and winegrape farming operation, I developed a strong understanding and passion for the agriculture industry at a very young age. 

It is a privilege working for Gills Onions where my team and I share a mutual passion for healthy soil and how we grow our food. We are committed to sustainability from the time the seed is planted to when it is delivered to our customer.
