I am a strategic and commercially astute risk executive with a strong background in financial services and more than a decade of executive experience. I have also had exposure to a range of different industries covering all risk dimensions, financial and non-financial. Here are few career highlights: 📍 Consulting to a bank, I led and delivered the design, consultation, and endorsement of a new risk appetite statement, risk management framework, and policies for regulatory approval. This required extensive board engagement and executive alignment. 📍 As Chair of the Crisis Committee, I led the company through a series of challenges including data breaches and remediation, the pandemic, and natural disasters. 📍 I chaired the Enterprise Risk Committee and was a key member of other committees including the Executive Committee. 📍 I led the board through the collation and submission of the bank’s response to the Royal Commission enquiry and their response to the CBA prudential review. With expertise across retail, corporate and investment banking, infrastructure, property, mortgage lending and securitisation, treasury and commodities, and debt and equity funding, I also have a strong understanding of regulatory expectations. This enables me to provide high quality advice when it comes to risk frameworks, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business initiatives and regulatory engagement.
