- Launched new entertainment web portal: entertainment.suntimes.com in August 2014.
- Developed and launched a health content vertical with a pre-launch $50,000 commitment from a large hospital in September 2014.
- Developed content and topics for both web portals. Collaborated with UI/UX and audience development teams to provide best content for current and target audiences.

- Create content and manage social media channels for two verticals, while mentoring staff on best practices.

• In addition to production and design duties, served as society editor for 19 publications and websites.
• Original content specialization resulted in a 20 percent advertising revenue increase. 
• Created new fashion beat focused on local (or native) designers and trends, and covered two seasons at New York Fashion Week, cultivating both local and national contacts.
• Wrote original content about philanthropic events.

• Penned weekly fashion column, “The Style Counselor,” which won Illinois Press Association’s Best Column (second place) in 2012.
• Served as critical team member on the Evanston Review, one of Pioneer’s papers, which, in 2008, was named the Best Designed Weekly Newspaper in the country by the Suburban Newspapers of America.
• Initiated redesign for Pioneer, which, in 2006, won all eight design and graphics award categories at the Illinois Press Association Conference.

• Supervised design for a chain of 32 community publications and websites. 
• Led a staff of online editors, page designers and copy editors in the timely, cost-efficient assembly of online and print editions of newspapers; tracked scheduling and budgets.
• Served on the management labor-negotiation team, negotiated union contracts, managed disciplinary grievance processes and handled other labor-relations issues.

• Led production for metro daily newspaper; managed staff and daily pre-press workflow.

My team generated more than $3 million dollars per year producing advertising-supported inserts for outside clients. Responsibilities included pitching concepts to both national and local clients, assigning stories and photos to freelancers, editing copy, designing pages and sending to press.
