I founded Mumbai Instagrammers​ in 2013 and have been managing it as a Photography Collective.

We are a vibrant bunch of largely amateur and emerging professional photographers who participate in a host of online and offline banter. I’ve been conducting photography-centric events like photowalks, curated walks and workshops. The community enjoys a highly engaged young audience of authentic 50,000+ followers across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.
I often partner with brands for photography-centric campaigns. It could be a thematic PhotoWalk or contest theme basis an ongoing brand campaign or a multi-influencer content creation assignment/PhotoShoot. Notable campaigns include Shell, Idea Cellular, Housing.com, Tata CliQ, Amazon, HDFC Red, Vespa, Peninsula Realty and more..

Consultant / Self-Employed

I typically take up assignments for: 

1) Creating a new brand/sub-brand: 
Naming, Identity (Logo), Packaging, App icons & all other consumer touchpoints, brand manuals. I expedite the brand development process by creating detailed briefs from founders/brand managers. This also involves hiring a research firm sometimes, to enable sharper consumer and market insights. Have worked with experienced freelancers, mid-sized to small design agencies and brands' in-house design teams. These usually range from 3-6 months of engagement. I prefer working on-site in the initial 2-3 months, for 3 days/week. 

2) Agency Selection: 
I guide young start-up teams about various agency partnerships. Evaluate agency proposals for annual retainers et al. Auditing pitch presentations. Providing frameworks for effective coordination between brand teams and various agencies - Mainline, Digital, PR, Production

3) Hiring for Start-ups: 
Several start-ups find it challenging to hire teams in a short span of time. I facilitate candidate selection from a holistic perspective. I liaise largely with organizations that enable work-life balance. For candidates, I probe beyond the required technical skills, to understand their goals and whether the organization can provide that over a short/long term. Also, it's crucial for alignment with founders' goals and vision. I ensure that hired candidates (typically first-jobbers) receive thorough training from Department Heads and HR teams. This enables lesser attrition and more harmonious functioning of teams.
