As a qualified and experienced professional in civil Engineering and waste management, I am proud to introduce myself as a Research Associate at Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea. I have a strong educational background, having received my Ph.D. in Highway and Transportation Engineering from the highly-ranked University of Malaya, ranked 70th globally according to the QS World University Rankings 2023. In addition to my formal education, I have pursued further research opportunities through a postdoctoral grant from the National Elite Foundation of Iran's government. I focused on developing environmentally friendly porous concrete pavement at Arak University. My core research focuses on using various waste materials in building construction materials. I have received global recognition for my work on using waste plastic bottles as an additive for Stone Mastic Asphalt. My research has been published in several prestigious journals and has received over 700 citations from top researchers worldwide. To my credit, I have 19 high-quality peer-reviewed papers, including 6 SJR-Q1 and 2 SJR-Q2 journal papers. In addition to my research, I have extensive industry experience. I founded my own company in 2009 and have served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors on numerous road and construction projects. I have also worked as a Project Manager at Sharestan Zagros Consultant Engineering Company, where I supervised over 100 resident engineers across Khuzestan Province in Iran on large-scale projects. Several road construction projects have implemented my research findings on industrial and agricultural waste recycling. In addition to my academic research, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and insights with a wider audience on social media platforms like LinkedIn, where I have over half a million followers. I create and curate engaging and informative content related to civil engineering, highlighting the latest developments, trends, and best practices in the industry. I also collaborate with respected companies and organizations to promote their products and services and to provide value to my network of clients and peers. My goal is to bridge the gap between engineering and social media and to inspire more people to learn and appreciate the vital role of civil engineering in society.
