Reporting to the president, and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, I am responsible for developing marketing and communications strategies in support of the organization’s objectives to deliver member value, drive growth, and build awareness of the RH-ISAC’s mission and vision to reduce cyber risks to retail and hospitality sectors. Some additional responsibilities include: 
- Managing communications activities that promote, enhance and protect the organization’s brand reputation.
- Developing, integrating and implementing a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership, building relationships with the media, in order to drive broader awareness and membership for the organization.
- Developing varied and integrated communications products and services including: newsletters and other publications for members and prospects; web, social media and other online communications; media and public relations; and marketing.

Director, Marketing and Communications

National Defense ISAC

As the marketing and communications manager for NDISAC, I'm responsible for all marketing efforts and promoting the overall NDISAC brand. I manage all NDISAC externally facing initiatives, and the majority of our internal NDISAC programs and processes. I’ve created the NDISAC branded documents within the ISAC, and lead our NDISAC communications efforts, including: website design, website content, press releases, creating and establishing social networks, establishing and updating our blog, notifying members on NDISAC news, partnership development, sponsorship opportunities, and developing NDISAC informational sheets. 

I am a lead for all NDISAC events, planning them from literal start to finish. I play a significant role with NDISAC working groups; I created all the scoping documents, developed our initial tracking of members and working group status, and meet with working groups leads. 

I assist with all marketing efforts for the National Council of ISACs, including: joint ISAC social media efforts, NCI informational sheets, website updates, website design, and more.

Other responsibilities as needed and required include: vendor management, membership engagement, internal email management, CRM development, and more.

Manager, Marketing & Communications

NTT Security

• Creates and maintains marketing collateral, including: web content, email copy, brochures, white papers, data sheets, program overviews, case studies, and sales and marketing presentations. 
• Develops and delivers effective marketing programs to support sales initiatives.
• Leads re-branding efforts for marketing content for NTT Security transition, including re-skinning marketing materials in Adobe InDesign and posting new material in Salesforce and on company website through CMS (CrownPeak).
• Manages Salesforce marketing content library and trains the sales organization on proper library usage.
• Designed email campaign database for marketing automation platform. Continuously creates new email content to drive lead generation.
• Supports online company initiatives such as the website, partner portal and email marketing.
• Manages company blog and over 40 bloggers. Reviews, edits, and develops blog content and topics. Established new process and tracking methodology. Posts blog content to the CMS weekly and provides monthly reports on blog success. Increased unique page views from 300 to over 2,000.
• Directs social media strategy and regularly posts materials to relevant social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+. Tracks and reports on program success; gained 500+ new Twitter followers; 1000+ new LinkedIn followers.

Marketing Content Manager

• Created, implemented and managed new RFP process. Developed a new process design to increase efficiency, built templates, tools, standards, and an RFP repository that are still in use today. 
• Prepared responses to over 250 RFPs generating over $11mil in revenue. Increased the number of RFP responses by over 400% annually and cut the average time to prepare a response in half, allowing more time for management review.
• Trained sales team on proper implementation of new RFP process and repository usage.
• Coordinated RFPs from start to finish, organized and managed RFP response team, tracked RFP timelines and responsibilities, and followed up with various individuals assisting with responses. 
• Wrote RFP responses, revised technical content, coordinated layout and organization of each RFP and maintained repository. Lead the development and rollout of an RFP database (Qvidian).
• Developed content for sales and marketing, including but not limited to: whitepapers, data sheets, internal templates, and blogs.

Technical Writer

• Top Secret/SCI Clearances; DHS Suitable (Secret)
• Supported the Control System Security Program (CSSP) and Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS-CERT) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with data analysis and program management.
• Lead coordination efforts for information sharing via the cross-sector Industrial Control System Joint Working Group (ICSJWG); onsite assessments using the CSSP-developed tool; and ICS outreach and awareness initiatives across critical infrastructure sectors domestically and internationally.
• Assimilated raw data into actionable metrics for the CSSP metric tracker that reports specifications on over 200 items and briefed all program staff and leadership on metrics at weekly meetings. 
• Facilitated engagements with international Cyber Security partners as well as continues to develop the international CSSP program by increasing coordination and outreach efforts.

Program Analyst

• Responsibilities included composing, compiling, and editing a variety of information requests and policy papers for two programs within the DHS and developing a SharePoint distribution system. 
• Reviewed and processed a large volume of sensitive correspondence as well as maintained precise document records, and researched and tracked deliverables between programs and leadership.

• Assisted in organizing executive board meetings and managed meeting logistics.
• Planned and executed SURJ’s first fundraiser which surpassed expectations by raising over $3,000.
• Contacted Politicians and Senior Executives for support and donations to fundraiser.

• Supported the Staging Unit in all efforts to prepare volunteers for international departure and 27-month service.
