Melody Jones, NACD.DC's Linkedin Analytics

Melody Jones is an independent board director and founder of 32-80 Advisers, which leverages her background as a former C-level operating executive with 30 years of global public company experience to provide advice and coaching to CEOs and other C-suite professionals. Ms. Jones currently serves on the boards of Virtus Investment Partners (NASDAQ: VRTS), where she chairs the Compensation Committee and serves as a member of the Governance Committee; CEATI, a provider of technology solutions to power utility customers through the development and sharing of industry best practices; and, Fount Global, a technology-enabled employee experience analytics and solutions company. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Advisors of Pamlico Capital Management, a private equity firm that invests in middle market companies primarily in the business & technology, healthcare, and communications sectors; the Board of Advisors of ExecOnline, which partners with top-tier universities to provide leadership development solutions that drive organizational impact; and, the Capital Area Advisory Board for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Ms. Jones served until mid-2017 as the Chief Administrative Officer of CEB, Inc., a best practice insight and technology company whose mission is to develop innovative solutions to enhance corporate performance. As CEB’s CAO, she served as a Corporate Officer, with direct responsibility for Technology, Legal, Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion, Communications, Customer Events, Citizenship, and New Product Development. Prior to her role at CEB, Ms. Jones held global executive leadership and operating positions at T. Rowe Price, Aon, ODI, and Citicorp Mortgage, Inc. She is NACD Directorship-Certified, and is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow. She also received certification in cybersecurity oversight from NACD in conjunction with Carnegie Mellon in 2017. Ms. Jones holds both Master and Bachelor of Music degrees from Southern Illinois University, and has completed post-graduate work in Organizational Psychology at the University of Missouri.
