For 20 strategic named accounts within UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Egypt – I am the main point of contact, responsible for end-to-end account management, focusing on the strategic relationship, maintaining customer satisfaction and retention, through working with an extended team of corporate management, pre-sales, professional services, support and support-renewals to embed the complete Riverbed Application Performance Platform within their corporate strategy and environment.

•	Managing the strategic relationship and selling cycle for 20+ high profile Enterprise accounts.
•	Presenting Riverbed Application Performance Platform solutions to detect, monitor, provision and enhance Wide Area Networks [WAN], applications and infrastructure, to C-Level, high-level senior management and other company team members proposing the appropriate value proposition 
•	Prospecting Enterprise accounts, generating interest, qualifying and developing new short-term and long-term business, while maximizing use and tracking of data within enterprise CRM tools.
•	Engaging and working with strategic partners, technology alliances (Microsoft, AWS, EMC and others), resellers, and system integration partners promoting the sales of Riverbed IT performance portfolio.
•	Developing and executing an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a team selling effort.
•	Working independently or leading a team to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned from the named accounts.
•	Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly commits and quarterly targets, reporting to the Senior Managing Director of Middle East, Turkey and North Africa.

Service Providers, Telco & Enterprise Accounts Sales Manager

Leading the METNA regional sales and positioning of SteelFusion, the only Branch Converged Infrastructure that delivers the complete benefits of data centralization while retaining the Branch user experience and performance. What I do on a daily basis include, but is not limited to:

- Prospect new accounts, generate interest, qualify and develop new business.
- Work with our sales and pre-sales team, as well as independently, to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the territory.
- Develop an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed team selling effort into assigned accounts, working with a team that include sales, corporate management, and technical sales support.
- Focus on Customer Satisfaction and Retention.
- Enabling Channel and Partner network with all solution knowledge and assets

Regional Sales Manager - SteelFusion (Middle East, Turkey and North Africa)

In addition to my role as Data Protection and Retention Sales Leader (MEA) - I led the IBM Storage sales firstly in Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon and Iraq region, followed by the Saudi Arabia, Levant and Pakistan region.

In this role I work closely with the local channels and engage in direct new business. My responsibilities cover all products in the IBM storage portfolio (SAN-Flash / Disk, NAS,Tape, and System Software) across all verticals.

Achievements
•	Successfully created and closed the first opportunities in the Middle East region for the newly acquired flagship product, IBM FlashSystem (Flash-based storage array).
•	Achieved Year-to-Year sales (revenue and profit) growth across entire mentioned region 
•	Fostered successful relationships with identified Business Partner/Channel Partner network and streamlined management, sales and presales processes

Storage Sales Country Manager

•	Responsible for the Regional sales, pre-sales and product management for IBM Data Protection and Retention [DPR] storage product portfolio, for Middle East and Africa [MEA] territory (over 40 countries) reporting to the MEA Storage Business Unit Leader.
o	Product portfolio includes ProtecTIER (disk-based data de-duplication solution), Enterprise, Midrange and Entry-level Tape and Archiving storage products
•	Defining strategies to achieve set Profit and Revenue targets for entire DPR business and individual products
•	Leading DPR sales engagements from deal-making to completion across all industries, and involvement in pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
•	Coaching IBM country sales & pre-sales teams and business partners in sales engagements
•	Active Contribution to Marketing, Demand Generation, Channel Strategy and Training for the region enabling action plans for the respective teams.
•	Engaging and managing deals across IBM different lines of business to ensure a complete solution is developed and delivered to the customer
•	Forecasting DPR opportunities on regular review meetings as DPR Sales Leader to the local and Growth Market Unit management.
•	Presenting DPR business concepts, product and competitive information at IBM customer events, IBM sales and technical enablement sessions and business partner training sessions. 
•	Chairing and managing calls with sales team to monitor deal progressions. Facilitating complex issue resolution across regions.

Data Protection and Retention Sales Leader (MEA)

Provided Pre-Sales Technical support for XIV, N-Series and Storage Virtualization solutions for Middle East & North Africa (MENA), reporting to the MENA System Storage Leader.
•	Acted as Trusted Technical Advisor for assigned top customers in region by pro-actively managing technical requirements, requests and issues
•	Presented technical and competitive product details to customers to address their pain points using traditional presentations, Proof of Concept exercises and/or remote demonstrations. 
•	Developed storage solutions proposals including hardware, software and services based on customer requirements, selling it to internal account team, presenting it to customer and provide technical response to bids, RFP & RFQ along with detailed architectural diagram depicting proposed solution. 
•	Provided Solution and System Assurance for complex solutions, to ensure validity of configurations and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
•	Closed technical skill gaps within Business Partners’ pre-sales and sales teams through enablement sessions, as well as providing pre-sales technical support to them.

System Storage - Field Technical Sales Specialist

During this period, I led the sales activity of Industry Solutions for Middle East, followed by sales into the Academic Sector in the Middle East.

Industry Solution Sales:

•	Sales of innovative industry-specific solutions, based on IBM Intellectual Property assets.
•	Provided sales and marketing strategy and support to customers allowing faster go-to-market for their customized products, from IBM Global Engineering Services

Academic Sector Sales:

•	Account management of Education industry customers, for the Gulf States and Levant countries - providing IBM Education solutions and cross brand sales of the complete IBM portfolio of services and products.
•	Managed the IBM Academic Initiative, an IBM program that allows participating academic organizations to access an extensive range of membership benefits, support advancement of academia in the region

Software, Services and Peripherals (SSP) for Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan
region (14 countries), reporting to Regional Director, to cover the Relationship and
Commercial business.
• Responsible for achieving region’s quarterly revenue and profit targets for relationship
business and to execute initiative to drive required growth
• Presented product benefits, updates and differentiators to customer of large enterprise
and SMB segments in answer to tenders and opportunities, as well as training and
enabling corporate resellers
