Meor earned a Bachelor of Accounting Hons degree from the University of Hull, UK, and began his career as an Accounts Executive with YTL Corporation Berhad’s construction project in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in 1996. He then served as Lead Project Controller at Alstom Asia Pacific, where he completed a 600MW Open Cycle Power Project two months ahead of schedule and under budget, earning recognition as the best project in New South Wales for the year 2009. Meor joined Sapura Energy in 2017 as Head of Contracts & Cost Control for Hook-up & Commissioning Division, and was recently appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Bylon Group Berhad, where he leads the Company's strategy and oversees its IPO process.
