As a freelance science journalist I write about topics related to sustainability. I published most of my articles in the popular science magazine KIJK.

Except - Integrated Sustainability

Except creates the foundations for a sustainable society through research, consulting, and design. It is a cooperative of about 23 professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. Besides working on projects, I trained people in Except's SiD method.

TU Delft

As coordinator of TU Delft's first Social Media Team, I managed and created content for TU Delft's Facebook page. After a year, I became administrator of TU Delft's Facebook community. At that time, the page had around 15.000 likes. 

Besides that, I was responsible for mass communication to TU Delft's alumni network. I contributed to a monthly alumni newsletter, social media channels and event communication.

Marketing employee

I made Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for PhD and graduate students to assess the environmental impact of their designs. LCA is a method that uses environmental data to analyse the impact of a product during its lifecycle.

I contributed to the book EVR; LCA based assessment of sustainability. the Ecocost/Value ratio.
