What if the human game was to create self-fulfilling prophecies? Make up your mind to do something. Throw your life at it. Make it real. You need help, tho – supporters, collaborators, customers, clients. You need other people. So whatever bright mission you throw your life at, you depend on it being understood. You need to get it across. Now, what's most worthwhile to get across? If you’re inhabiting the same planet that I do, you’re probably aware of the problem that we all share – you, me, already born and yet unborn children, our lovely moms and even the most stoic of dads: Earth's vital system are toppling. Biodiversity, wildlife count, soil health, forest cover, water and air quality – all are in free fall, and to put the cherry on top: The global rate of circularity fell from 9,6% in 2018 to 7,2% in 2023. Shoulddn't we move, like, in the other direction? We can't afford this. There are many obstacles to conquer on our way to a global regenerative paradigm, and one is that the digital communication around it often … sucks: – No flow – Weak copy – Cluttered design – A free-of-charge heart attack when you check the website on mobile The punch doesn't match the purpose. But your existential investment into a greener future simply has to pay off. Now what? If some companies can crook and fraud their way to economic success with greenwashing and planned obsolescence, your truth HAS to have a way of resonating with people and making them take action: Support, share, buy, hire – invest into their own future. As it stands, commercial success is the driver of change – and in order to drive the change we all need, regenerative revolutionaries need to: – Get their message across and stand out – Abundantly fund their mission and give it wings – Snack their unsustainable competition for breakfast There’s a lot of noise and confusion in the system, and your message needs to pierce it. In order to catch up with the intense feeling of ‘want’ that people project on something like an iPhone, you're called to create a similar aura around your offer. If your solution is logical, what you’re missing is psychological: People do and buy things because they read words that make them want to do so.
