As the Director of Growth - Sports at GMG, I lead the strategy and execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive growth and retention for one of the largest retail groups in the Middle East. I have over 10 years of experience in performance marketing, customer acquisition, and growth, across various sectors and geographies, including e-commerce, fashion, and beauty. I also hold a Global Executive MBA from HULT International Business School, with a specialization in Innovation. Some of my recent achievements include: Managing more than AED 10 million growth budget and generating more than AED 30 million in net sales with more than 3 ROI (25% improvement YoY) through effective budget allocation and opening of new channels Reducing the CAC by 35% YoY while increasing the number of new customers by 45% YoY by creating a cross-channel acquisition strategy based on focusing on categories more attractive for new customers, which is based on cohort analysis Building a team from scratch, increasing the managed brands from 5 to 12 across different geographies, including GCC, Africa, and Asia, by building a clear written lean process while developing and upgrading team members In addition to my corporate role, I am also the founder of PPC Legends, a community for performance marketing and digital growth based in Dubai. Our purpose is to guide and connect people interested in PPC, and to provide them with access to experts, webinars, and monthly gatherings.
