Scaleup Finance is a financial management platform for next generation founders. Our platform takes care of the administrative hassle and provides you with actionable business intelligence, so you may focus on moving your business forward.

I joined Scaleup Finance as one of the first employees after the founders and have been part of building up and scaling the company to where we are today. My initial focus was to build all the financial models in Excel and Google Sheets that we used to create the main deliverables to our customers, while we were building the foundation for our software solution:
-	Monthly report with actuals vs. budget, metrics/KPIs and dashboards
-	Budget model (more detailed, focus on next 1-2 years)
-	Financial model (more high level, with scenarios, focus on next 5 years, for funding purposes)

I then gradually shifted focus to our software solution, the Financial Management Platform, and was overall responsible for the product development and strategic direction of the platform. I built up the Product Team with Product Managers and Product Designers (both UX and UI) organized in Product Teams and working closely together with the engineers.

Investor and Chairman of the Board in Børnebasen, a welfare tech startup, developing a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for the public sector to optimize their case handling when working with vulnerable children and families.

I primarily worked with the founders on:

After the initial phase, I sold my shares in Børnebasen to an investor with experience in selling SaaS solutions to the public sector to further develop the company and to free up time for some of my other investments and projects.

I am a seasoned leader with +15 years of experience from large corporations and startups/scaleups within finance, strategy, business development and product development.

My core competencies include management accounting, financial management, financial analysis & modelling, budgeting/forecasting, business and product strategy, program and project management, business development, M&A and agile development. I have a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

I am also an active investor and advisor for several early-stage startups within tech/SaaS, leveraging my expertise and network to support their growth and success.
