I believe a founder's vision should be the guiding principle. That's why I build AI content strategy systems that start with your POV. first. I analyzed when my content actually performs vs. when I publish it.

Realized I've been leaving 2-3x performance on the table by ignoring cognitive timing.

Tag your content library by cognitive load (tactical vs strategic), intent (educational/inspirational/promotional), and format (how-to/framework/case study).

Use AI to bulk-categorize:

Map temporal windows, cyclical triggers, and avoidance zones for each content type. Then automate scheduling recommendations.

Your content just went through round four of revisions 😱

Everyone's frustrated. The deadline was two weeks ago.​

Here's what actually happened: you're running an artisan workshop when you need a manufacturing line.​​

Every piece touches every person. MULTIPLE times.​

They strategize ✅

They brief the writer ✅

The writer drafts ✅

Then Strategy reviews and realizes the angle was wrong 🤦🏻‍♂️

So... Rebrief. Rewrite. Repeat.​

This leads to:

❌ Content that takes weeks when it should take days

❌ Writers who become order-takers

❌ Endless Slack threads debating "what we actually meant"

❌ Teams that blame the talent instead of examining the system​

Eventually, everyone points fingers. The writer gets replaced. Nothing improves.​​

👉 The missing piece is almost always an actual assembly line.​

Content operations work best as manufacturing systems: defined stations, clear handoffs, zero backtracking.​​

Here are the five critical stations:

- Station 1: Strategy (Define intent: what are we saying and why?)

- Station 2: Research (Gather raw materials - data, insights, angles)

- Station 3: Brief (Lock specifications like structure, tone, CTAs)

- Station 4: Execution (Build the content)

- Station 5: Quality (Inspect output against the brief)​

The power lives in the handoff criteria.​​

Strategy doesn't hand off until intent is documented. Research doesn't hand off until competitive gaps are mapped. Briefs don't move to execution until the writer confirms they understand the assignment.​

This eliminates the endless revision loop. Rework gets caught at the gate before execution begins.​

Building with two people means every decision is a negotiation (especially when one of the “people” is your husband 😂)

Here's how we decide what to build.

Last Tuesday at 9pm, we’re about to watch the last episode of Alice in Borderland Season 3 (hated it, by the way), my husband shouts:

"I think we should scrap the entire onboarding flow."

I've been working on that for three days.

Now we're arguing about user experience while people are playing deadly games on TV.

Building with a co-founder - especially one you share a life with - means work conflicts feel personal. But that intimacy also means we care deeply about getting it right.

This dynamic shapes how I approach building anything now:

→ Speed isn't always better. The best decisions survive friction.

→ When you disagree, ask: "What's the user experiencing in this moment?" That question cuts through ego.

→ The person closest to the work (whether that's code, strategy, or design) should have the strongest voice, but not the only voice.

If you're building with a co-founder, embrace the friction.

The best decisions come from two people who challenge each other, not one person who's always right.

I just did an interview (❤️) with Jenny Ouyang from Build to Launch, and she asked me something that made me pause:

"How much of your domain expertise did you distill into the product itself?"

My answer: About 90%.

But here's what I realized after we wrapped up the interview - that 90% matters because of what we distilled, not how much.

Most AI workflows mean -- connect to an LLM, add a nice interface, ship it.

But generic inputs create generic outputs, no matter how powerful the model.

When we built Yahini, we spent 10 months training the system on strategic playbooks from a decade of agency work. We brought in other experts to enrich what it "knows." We built proprietary scoring algorithms. We embedded decision-making frameworks.

We codified how a senior strategist thinks, not just what they output.

The real work is translating tacit knowledge into explicit logic an AI can execute.

This applies whether you're building a content strategist, a research tool, a competitive intelligence system, or a strategic planning assistant.
