Hi there—I’m Micah and I love figuring out what makes people tick and then explaining why through stories. Because data is only as useful as the stories you can tell with it. As a growth practitioner, nothing makes my day like a good opportunity for an experiment. I nerd out over finding out what works, what doesn’t, and tracing how each tweak affects the entire funnel from acquisition to retention. But as a creative writer and psychology geek, I’m always wanting to know: but why did it (or didn’t it) work? What was the psychology at play here? (Turns out once you ask these questions enough about fictional character motivations, you start thinking about how it works in real life too.) Today I’m working with GrowthMentor to help connect our members to mentors with a wealth of expertise faster, so those founders, first-marketers, and early stage startup folks get the answers they need sooner. Like a crow with shiny objects, there are a few topics I’m always fascinated by: 🧪 Anything Growth-related (though I'm now more marketing than product side, I still love both areas) 🧐 Neuroscience and psychology, especially cognitive biases and decision-making 🔬 Anything biomedical or microbiology related—I wasn’t a microbio major without reason! 🎯 Productivity Outside of work, you can usually find me baking or typing away at my latest creative writing project (usually fantasy or science fiction).
