I have done many television spots on Changzhou Television, as well as variety shows and commercials. Filmed 15 movies and promotional videos for Changzhou City, China Railway Corp, other Chinese companies, shopping malls and student productions. Highlighted in various magazines and newspapers. Performed the Chinese song, "Tong Hua" on national television during Christmas.

I teach Western Culture, English Speaking Countries, Western News and Oral English. I also attend the weekly English Corner. In addition, I am a judge at most English language competitions. I attend all relevant activities pertaining to my job.

I taught English to CRRC employees for 3 years to help those going abroad. I taught a total of 18 classes and 625 students at that time. The other group taught a total of 14 classes and 480 students while I was there. So in total, I influenced some 1100+ students. I no longer work at CRRC, however I frequently take trips to their cities to see my former students as well as students I didn't teach in 2018-2019.

This was my life for 30 amazing years. From Scottsdale, Arizona to Bellevue/Bothell/Fife, Washington. I worked in so many capacities that it's hard to list. I began with United Cable, then United Artists, TCI, AT&T Broadband and finally Comcast. The major positions I held was as an IS Coordinator, Analyst Lead, Project Manager, Billing Coordinator, and IS Supervisor at various stages of my career in cable television. I stayed true to my major in Broadcasting and Telecommunications.

Hello everyone! My name is Michael Arnold. I am so happy to be back in the USA after 10 years in China where I was a university English teacher in Changzhou, Jiangsu. Before I went to China, I worked in the Cable Television industry for 30 years in the Information Services department at Comcast.

I returned to my beloved Seattle area and will be here the rest of my life. I am now semi-retired and am looking forward to working for the Seattle Mariners seasonally every year. When I'm not working, I hope to be on an airplane, train, bus or boat traveling to somewhere interesting. Looking for traveling partners, let me know!
