I currently serve as the priest at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church and retired as the 4th Grade teacher at Community Christian Academy in Lowell, MA. However, I’m an Elementary and Middle School math tutor. Presently I'm also organizing an educational enrichment service that aims to assist children who are struggling with math and reading/writing. I call it, The Homework Helper (https://thehomeworkhelperma.tumblr.com). I've been quite successful in helping 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th-grade students gain an understanding in the basics of integers and equations. I'm also available to lecture on the "Consequences of Ideas." Ideas, concepts, and social trends have consequences. No idea exists entirely in a vacuum and when new ideas were released on a population, change has always been the result. As the priest and pastor of Christ the King Church, I produce a podcast and the church helps feed the poor. The church is also doing outreach to the area's sizable Japanese and Brazilian communities. I've also gained over 15 years of journalism experience, along with several years of experience in political consulting and issue-oriented advocacy. Here is the link to the church podcast page: http://christthekingnorthshore.podbean.com Some Background: Twenty-five years ago, I sensed a burden to reach the Japanese people, so I studied Japanese culture and history and have become knowledgable on Japan. I still have a burden to reach the Japanese people with the truth of the Gospel. As a reporter, I worked for several news outlets, online, print, and network radio. I have two Master's Degrees, one in Cultural Anthropology with an emphasis on group theory. The second is in Cross-Cultural Education. My thesis was on Japan’s issue with the emergence of adolescence. Before graduate school, I spent six years in the U. S. Army; three of them were in Okinawa. During my years in the Army, I was deployed to Somalia, The Philippines, and South Korea. People who know me well confirm that I am mission-focused and a team player. I like the quote, "It's amazing what can be accomplished when you don't care who gets the credit." I am happily married, have two adult sons. One is married and I live with my family in Massachusetts.
