- Performed user research and interviews to determine problems and pain points (setting up research processes, analytics and dashboards for the wider business)

Product Manager for a digital transformation of the Brit Underwriting process

- Ran a workshop with the C-Suite and senior management to outline scope for the project

- Performed user research and interviews with underwriters to understand processes

Limejump

Lead the Limejump technology team in their trading platform integration project with Shell after they had been newly acquired

- Point person for all interactions with Shell PM team

- Identified and tracked all requirements, decisions and decision makers, often mediating between the two parties (with very different working styles)

- Flagged issues and resolved blocked items with CEO, CTO, CFO and CRO at Limejump

- Designed and validated proposed technical solutions with Product Development team

- Delivered the project to original agreed timeline with no issues

Tmup is a platform used to find and organise games with local partners or teams in any sport, at any level, on-demand.

UK Financial Services Assurance Innovation Leader (part time, 3 days/week)

- Founded and lead a team of Data Scientists, Robotics Process Automation (RPA) engineers and auditors across all levels working to re-invent audit and assurance propositions

- Built, managed and developed a team of 12 people in 9 months, recruiting technical specialists

- Established a culture of innovation across the business through the deployment of various creative initiatives 

- Overall product manager of internal innovation projects, using both high-tech and low/no-tech innovation, utilising technologies such as RPA, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics

- Explored applications of Blockchain and Process Mining with Financial Services

- Lead the EY Assurance FinTech team, working on several client proposals, creating a large internal proposal for funding to be presented to EMEIA FSO leadership, liaising with risk management teams, providing input into EY thought leadership on accounting for cryptoassets

- Co-founder of UK FSO Assurance Innovation team that will utilise technologies such as Robotics Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence to streamline and enhance the assurance process

- Senior Manager on a SEC-registered, PCAOB-regulated global payments client group component audit, designing audit approaches, performing detailed reviews of areas of significant risk, monitoring and agreeing budgets and fees, maintaining and building client relationships 

- Counsellor to 6 counselees of varying experience from senior to manager 

- Assisted an Associate Partner in the designing of a social media strategy to increase firm revenues across EMEIA

- Co-founded an internal EY Entrepreneurs network

- Provided creative input into a successful audit proposal for a very large UK building society

Banking and Capital Markets Audit

- Co-founded and lead the EY Assurance FinTech team, liaising cross-service line, creating and delivering proposal materials, managing approx. 25 people, producing training materials and raising awareness of FinTech within Financial Services assurance

- Designed and delivered a successful audit proposal for a well-known FinTech brand

- Nominated for EY FinTech Talent Initiative by lead partner in department, seconding to a FinTech company for 3 months (Pockit – a provider of an alternative banking solution)

- Member of the Banking and Capital Markets people team, contributing and executing ideas on improving levels of engagement within the department and sitting on year end performance review panels

- Audit manager responsible for work performed on areas of significant risk on two of the largest Financial Services audit assurance clients in the department and globally

- Created valuation models for the valuation of property developments and other complex unlisted equity investments 

- Prepared budgets on all engagements, monitoring BVAs

- Counselling manager to 7 other members of staff – providing professional advice on career progression, also responsible for presenting their performance evaluations

- Lead an asset impairment review of a c. £3bn loan portfolio in a FTSE 350 company, performing analyses and creating cash flow models to assess the recoverability of funds made available for clients in real estate, retail, aviation and hospitality sectors

- Performed valuations of unlisted equity instruments and embedded derivatives in TMT and retail sectors

- Critically evaluated and tested financial control systems, recommending process improvements to prevent and detect material errors

- Designed and executed an enhanced revenue testing strategy resulting in savings of c.£40k
