Assisted sales in developing several million dollars of additional business for the company through hardware recommendations in developing customer facilities, applications, and automation systems. Provided in house automation systems development and control systems maintenance for the bearing production facility.  Responsibilities included electrical design, programming, robotics, PLCs, machine vision, and support of production machinery.

Provided electrical design, programming, and development of automated manufacturing equipment.  Integrated machine vision and robotic platforms for material handling automation.  Developed PLC programs using Siemens S7, Rockwell ControlLogix and Logix500 platforms.  Developed systems using Fanuc and Motoman robotics for material handling applications.

Provided operations management assistance with production and quality control systems development.  Assisted with QMS and ERP systems development.

Taught college courses in Programmable Logic Controllers, Robotics, Engineering Materials, and CNC Machining.  Provided test engineering functions in support of a Federal Grant to develop more safety into mass transportation vehicles.
