Serve as a Technical Sales Specialist for ABB Installation Products to promote and demonstrate Legacy Thomas & Betts products. Work closely with direct and agency sales teams up and down the Pacific Region to make recommendations or referrals, develop opportunities and long-term relationships, as well as organize sales demonstrations of Thomas & Betts / ABB products in order to grow Commercial Buildings, Healthcare, Food & Beverage and Local Government business • Provide viable options and solutions to meet the customer needs and help direct sales and management teams make the most of increasing exposure and awareness of Thomas & Betts /ABB products • To improve sales margins and provide hands-on product and application demonstrations • Identify and solve problems with customer interaction that results in positive feedback and improved relationships • Converse on a technical level with customers, associates and teams • Provide technical instruction and certification of installation and or preparation of products such as OCAL, Elastimold and others • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment to assure 100% performance for all demonstrations, from single to multiple or impromptu presentations per day. I develop training programs and conduct training sessions and classes for Corporate and APW events, including but not limited to: “Train the Trainer,” “Lunch & Learns,” Grounding and Bonding, Effective Crimping, Elastimold Cable Preparation and OCAL Preparation/ Installation for team members, distributors and OEMs.
