As a Senior Waterfront Engineer at Thales, I lead a team of waterfront engineers to develop and implement engineering changes for the Armidale Class Patrol Boat (ACPB) fleet, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance. In my current role, I manage the physical engineering change incorporations onboard vessels, oversee stakeholders, provide emergent technical advice, and maintain quality control. I also engage with key stakeholders to ensure engineering requests and work plans are sufficiently detailed and scoped within agreed timelines and cost parameters. Additionally, I plan operations and processes required to complete allocated design tasks, including estimating staffing requirements, material costs, and quantities.
