Several things light me up about having the opportunity to lead in healthcare: (1) interacting with front-line associates and learning about them and why they do this important work; (2) listening and helping remove obstacles to ensure they can do their job; (3) working with physicians to build service lines that showcase their amazing skills; (4) using collaboration to bring my community higher levels of service; (5) mentoring emerging leaders.
