Key Accomplishments: Introduced the Technical Marketing function to Secureworks for the first time and built out the new TM department with TMMs and TMEs. Revamped the Competitive Intelligence function from the ground up through intensive cross-functional collaboration with Sales Engineering and the application of rigorous technical assessment plus comprehensive win/loss data and voice of the customer analysis.

I led Technical Product Marketing and Competitive Intelligence for Secureworks cybersecurity products and services, headlined by the Taegis XDR cloud-native security analytics platform. My role included development of product presentations, white papers, product/sales guides, technical briefs, product demos and other tools. I worked with PMs and PMMs to elevate and refine the technical merits/differentiators of products and services to showcase compelling use cases, workflows and real-world benefits for technical decision makers. I also worked with Sales and SEs to identify and fill gaps in the technical knowledge and sales tools needed to compete and win enterprise opportunities based on technical merits and overall solution value over the competition.

Instrumental in the launch of 3 key new product lines: Server Security for Linux and Containers, Network Detection and Response (NDR), and Managed Detection and Response (MDR).

I led a team of Technical Marketing Managers (TMMs) and Technical Marketing Engineers (TMEs) that produces highly differentiated deep-dive technical assets for new product introduction, technical launch, go-to-market, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement initiatives for Bitdefender's advanced cyber-defense platforms and cloud services in the Datacenter, Network Security, Managed Detection and Response, and Managed Services Providers (MSPs) lines of business.

Technical Marketing sales tools aid the internal enablement of technical salespeople and sales engineers and allow external technical customers to self-educate on the technical merits of Bitdefender solutions. My team maintains virtualized lab environments for testing, training, and demonstrating end-to-end, multi-product/solution workflows that demonstrate successful business outcomes based on real-world use cases.

My security product/market expertise covers physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure for Endpoint Protection (EPP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Endpoint Risk Analytics (ERA), Malware Sandboxing (SBX), Network Traffic Analytics (NTA), Server Security for Linux and Containers, Network Detection and Response (NDR), and Managed Detection and Response (MDR).

Earned a simultaneous second hat as the company's first Senior Product Manager for Threat Intelligence and created customized Threat Assessment Reports for detailed readouts with high-profile customers.

Bromium is the leader and pioneer in virtualization-based security, delivering hardware-enforced application isolation and control to enterprise organizations as the last line of defense against sophisticated malware that evades all other defenses.

I was responsible for technical marketing, threat intelligence research and product roadmap, and go-to-market launch activities, in a role evenly split between product marketing and product management functions.
