I am Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Volhawk Property Investments LLC, which offers exclusive commercial real estate investments in thriving U.S. markets to time-strapped, top performing professionals. My mission is to provide access, transparency, and education to our investors, empowering them to achieve their financial goals and live life on their terms. As a leader of Volhawk, I am responsible for business development, investment strategy, acquisitions, due diligence, financing, capital raising, investor relations, asset management, and back-office functions. Prior to forming Volhawk, I helped launch Spinnaker Capital LLC and oversaw its initial growth phase. Years later I co-led the firm's transition to Registered Investment Advisor, including spearheading recruitment of a Chief Compliance Officer. In 20 years I managed or closed more than 70 investments in private companies and funds totaling $1.3 billion, playing a key role in transforming Spinnaker Capital into an operation of institutional size and influence. I managed the accounting and reporting function for over 50 entities, established GAAP and tax accounting policies, achieved a 15% improvement in the process of closing the books and preparing tax workpapers, and saved 25% by leading the transition from a manual payment system to an online system. I also developed the firm’s first database and reporting system to track all private investment transactions and valuations. Over the years I hired dozens of team members while co-developing and revitalizing the firm's candidate evaluation criteria and rating system to enhance our talent acquisition process and reduce turnover rate.
