I have a fever. And the only prescription is more call center management. I love call centers. Call centers can be such a clean business function to operate, as most things can be measured with a button press and new metrics can be generated all of the time. It’s also a function that literally grants a voice to your customer, so there’s no guessing if you ask. As an extrovert, I love connecting with people, drawing energy from them, transferring energy to them, and call centers are literally all about that connection. I never imagined my life would be call center management, but I’m so grateful my first job out of college was on the phones. I love what I do.
