My passion for coaching comes from recognizing the value I’ve realized from others speaking into my life, challenging my perspectives, and holding me accountable to the actions and commitments needed to turn my vision into reality. With no agendas, no ulterior motives, and no attachment to the results, these individuals were focused on guiding me through the process of defining what I wanted to achieve in life, developing a plan to get there, then challenging and encouraging me throughout the process. It’s through these relationships that I came to recognize the impact coaching can have in all areas of my life. As a leadership coach, I challenge my clients to envision the future they desire to create, guide them through developing a plan to get them there, then co-create the structures, actions, and accountability needed to turn their vision into reality. When appropriate, I share my own experiences and stories with my clients, as I recognize transparency, authenticity, and trust must be shared by both parties to foster an open and productive coaching relationship. Leveraging real life experience as a leader, both personally and professionally, and utilizing the skills I have developed as a coach, such as intentional curiosity, deep questioning, and perceptive listening, I bring a practical perspective to my coaching. A perspective focused on supporting my clients in gaining clarity of purpose and becoming the best versions of themselves. With each engagement, I bring all of who I am, my gifts, talents, experiences, successes, and failures, into the coaching relationship and in service to my clients. Creating space for others to show up without fear of judgement or criticism, and building a connection that allows them to process through whatever situation they are facing as they journey toward the life they desire to live and success they are committed to achieving.
