I love presenting in-person and virtually. I can present any of my programs virtually.  I have presented on the following platforms: Zoom, WebEx, Hopin, Microsoft Teams, and GotoMeeting. Zoom is the platform that I use most often and I make full use of the participant engagement tools (e.g., polling, breakouts rooms,and video). I also use Mentimeter and Google Forms.

IT Business Consultant

The objective of the Inclusion Council is to facilitate the advancement of an inclusive culture, locally and globally, within Information Technology that embraces diversity and empowers employees to exceed performance expectations, aligning with company goals and driving superior company results.

I am one of the 12 trainers that will be conducting the IT Diversity & Inclusion 101 workshop to all IT professionals within International Paper.  The purpose of the workshop is to help all IP employees see the value in diversity and to create a more engaged workplace.  We will be conducting the following modules: Diversity Awareness 101, MicroTriggers and Communication Styles.

I joined Toastmasters to become a better communicator and leader. I can still recall my first speech.  My hands were shaking, my mouth was dry and I thought for sure that the people on the front row could see butterflies jumping out of my shirt.  Even though I was nervous giving my first speech I was excited because I knew that it was part of the process of me learning how to be a more confident presenter.

Serves as a liaison between the district and its clubs via semiannual area club visits to understand how clubs are fulfilling member needs and how the district is supporting each club.

This has been a wonderful year.  We started the year off with 5 clubs in our area and then we were fortunate to be able to add a sixth club.  This was my first opportunity to mentor a brand new club and has been wonderful to watch them grow into more effective communicators.  Two of our clubs finished the year off at President's Distinguished.
