I am a gastroenterologist and the CEO of GutChek, the first mobile platform for patients to get prescreened and scheduled for colonoscopy without an office visit. I have an MD from UNC, a fellowship in gastroenterology from UT Southwestern, and a residency in internal medicine from Brown University. My core competencies include public health, internal medicine, and cancer. In addition to leading GutChek, I also practice as a gastroenterologist at GI Partners of Alabama. Previously, I was the chief of gastroenterology division at Decatur Morgan Hospital and the co-founder of Vitalnotes, a medical software company. I am passionate about improving the quality and accessibility of health care for diverse populations and leveraging technology to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. I bring a wealth of clinical and entrepreneurial experience, as well as a unique perspective and skill set, to the GutChek team.
