The Percy Hobart Fellowship

The Percy Hobart Fellowship is a bespoke, 12-week course to give immersive, hands-on experience in innovation to personnel in the Royal Navy and Royal Airforce. The Fellowship is a programme run by PUBLIC on behalf of the Royal Navy and RAF. I support the programme by developing and delivering the Growth Marketing learning and acting as an entrepreneurship mentor.

Initially joining Dimension Data as the Group Social Media Strategist to lead our global social strategy, I progressed quickly on to Head of Social and Campaign Channels overseeing all digital marketing channels, reporting and analytics across all global campaigns as well as leading agency management and platform innovation.

Azimo is a mobile and internet-based social remittance network allowing customers to send money to banks, payout locations, mobile phones and home delivery in 198 countries around the world, aiming to disrupt the industry dominated by legacy players Western Union and Moneygram. 

Working with the founders since pre-launch, I returned on a permanent basis in March 2014 as Head of Social Media, Content Marketing and Public Relations to oversee strategy, influencer outreach and community management across 198 market corridors in eleven languages. Exited in 2022 to Papaya.

My editorial role enabled me to interact with entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey and to share their experiences through our range of in-print, in-person and online media.
