36 years of experience in Information technology has offered me the chance to play different roles on the technical and management side. My participation in many different projects gave me the chance to diversify my expertise across multiple industries and in many domains of information technology (IT). Self-educated on many subjects, on the business and IT side, it was important for me to keep my expertise up-to-date on these subjects during my career. As an IT Director of Information Technology, in the Enterprise Architecture domain, I had the chance to build new teams as well as managing multidisciplinary teams of different sizes (10 to 30 resources in Data, applications, business, integration and infrastructure). My 15 years in organized Hockey had a positive effect on my management style, on teamwork and as coach to my resources. I played many different roles in numerous projects over the years. Projects in application development, package implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (SAP ERP and Oracle JDE - budget around 100M+), electronic commerce as an IT director, Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect and as a project manager. The last projects allowed me to confirm my expertise and mastery in the field of Enterprise Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture, Electronic Commerce and Data Management. My involvement in projects demonstrated my passion, my leadership and my hard work. At this stage on my career, I do volunteer work as a speaker at different universities in Quebec as an Enterprise Architecture expert, speaking to graduate students at the MBA level as well as those in IT Degree level. I am ready to meet new challenges to put to good use my expertise in business, in management and in technology.
