My journey in the medical field began at the age of 15, driven by a passion for helping others and a love for science. Over the years, I volunteered and worked in various medical areas such as Radiology, the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Research (Trauma, Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynecology), served as an EMT-b, and most recently worked in Pathology (Surgery and Autopsy), serving as a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) processing surgical specimens and performing autopsies. Following the birth of my second daughter, I had to resign from my position as a PA due to medical reasons. This turning point marked the start of my entrepreneurial journey. I am now the Mami, Founder, and Chief Creative Officer of Mami Works Design Studio. In my current role, I continue to pursue my passion for medicine and helping others by utilizing my creative energy to collaborate with remarkable women healthcare providers. Together, we work on a mission to educate and serve their communities, as they may lack the time, inclination, or expertise to bring their message to life through visual marketing assets. Beyond my graphic design work, you can find me singing and dancing with my family, which includes my hardworking husband and our four amazing kids (3 girls and 1 boy, ages 2-12). My life is a colorful canvas of medicine, entrepreneurship, and a whole lot of family fun!
