As the legendary singer George Michael sings… I gotta have faith, faith, faith! So in June 2020, I decided to use the skills I have acquired and take a leap of faith to become a Virtual Assistant. Why? To be in control of my time; to learn, improve & experience! When I'm not busy with my #freelancerlife, I love listening & singing along to my soul music or relaxing & reading a good book in my spare time :) This is a new venture for me, but I am competent and take pride in the work I do. My previous company allowed me to hone in on skills such as Data entry/Capturing within strict policies and procedures. It required skilled accuracy & attention to detail, and to prioritize reliability & task completion. *Data from source documents into computer databases & spreadsheets, maintaining and updating. *Copy typing from handwritten documents. Memos, Reports & Newsletters & Email Correspondence. I'm currently developing as a Freelance Editor :) This is where my passion lies, the love for words. Copyediting & Proofreading, shaping content, such as grammar, spelling, vocabulary & punctuation. My goals and intentions are to get to know my clients, and their needs, and provide help with making their content shine. I also help with tedious ad-hoc admin tasks, your extra set of hands, so to speak, and later become a 'Virtual Asset'! How it works: Drowning in projects and paperwork, and you need an extra set of hands but don’t want to take on additional staff, then consider 'Just My Type' to benefit from no employment costs and just pay for the hours used.
