Responsible for increasing inbound enquiries and qualified lead generation through the creation of compelling content that drove brand awareness and engagement. 

Working closely with the commercial team and helping to manage the marketing team, I was responsible for creating, proof-reading, scheduling and delivering high-quality content that could be used in a variety of channels and formats. These included blog articles, best practice guides and training materials, case studies, email marketing messages, social media posts and web copy. I was also directly involved in scripting and overseeing the in-house video production process (heavily focused on customer testimonial and 'how tos' talking-head content from internal teams).

Responsible for all partner marketing activities, such as press releases, webinars in partnership with key trade publications and other co-authored content. In conjunction with the marketing team, I also helped organise and co-ordinate events for customers and prospects.

Accountable for all local category-specific trade marketing activations in accordance with Pan-European guidelines. Working closely with the international senior management team to build and develop commercial marketing strategies and define Fiskars brand positioning in the UK market. Implementing 360 marketing campaigns across TV, Radio, Print (consumer and trade), PR, Digital and In-store.

Executing and planning market specific communication strategy, developing and managing the media advertising plan and budget, producing advertising to meet local market needs, developing and executing local PR plans to support new product launches and key activities.

Ownership of all marketing management of Fiskars Functional’s four product categories (Garden, Outdoor, Kitchen and Craft) in the UK, including the management of two PR agencies, a brand ambassador for Garden products, media and merchandising agencies, as well as a variety of suppliers.

Working collaboratively with the marketing and sales teams to implement brand objectives and develop new product categories across direct consumers and retailers.

Producing relevant content for customer’s ecommerce websites (SEO optimised copywriting and image selection), supporting in-store activities to promote own product ranges or exclusive collections for clients such as John Lewis and Dunelm.

Managing the relationship with licensors, mainly across the Portmeirion and Royal Worcester brands, ensuring own brand identity and heritage are adequately promoted whilst also getting the licensor’s brand message across.

Working closely with the PR agency, managing campaigns, events and product launches from planning through to implementation and measurement.

Managing the relationship with key industry influencers such as food and lifestyle bloggers, identifying best product placement opportunities, competitions and activating tailored links to each blogger for measurement purposes.

PR and Marketing Associate ACIM

Working collaboratively with the sales team, ecommerce site developers and PR agency, identifying opportunities to best position product launches and brand messages – via eccomerce website; social media; direct mail; local, national and trade press.

Helping to drive online traffic and increase conversion rates through creative copywriting for website, email marketing, social media, website updates (consumer and hospitality segments), brochures, POS and packaging.

Responsible for writing press releases and managing local and national consumer press in collaboration with PR agency. Directly liaising with trade press, offering expert opinion on product categories, positioning brands and promoting new product launches via written interviews and editorials.

Collaborating to the creation and implementation of marketing and PR plans, working closely with licensors such as Ted Baker and Sophie Conran.

Project-managing content creation and launch of the company’s hospitality website using Wordpress.

Planning and assisting at events and trade shows such as Spring Fair and Harrogate Home & Gift Buyer Festival.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time in nature and training Mixed Martial Arts, especially Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in which I currently rank as purple-belt.
