I am a graduate of one of the most celebrated advertising and marketing colleges in South Africa: Cape Town’s Red and Yellow Creative School of Business. The school distinguishes itself as an enabler of “commercial logic” to help grow successful organisations, and more importantly, “the creative magic to set them apart”. It’s a philosophy that has always remained with me. In 2012, after gaining valuable experience in various positions in the advertising and marketing industries, I finally got to fulfil my driving ambition: to open and run my own design studio. My vision was to combine my two passions: design and technology, and establish a multi-disciplinary studio to serve the IT sector better. That was the “creative magic” needed to set Shall B Studio apart. My latest interest is exploring how a hybrid approach towards digital design can leverage the best of both AI and human creativity.
