I worked ten and half years as the Lewis County Social Services Director/Deputy Clerk.  Duties included investigating people who applied for county assistance. I had to verify financial need, residency and honesty. I researched and investigated the person and their families. If I found the person was not a Lewis County resident the County would deny them assistance. If the person made too much money the County would deny them assistance. If they lied on their application they could deny them assistance. I had to verify employment and where they lived. I called landlords and employers verifying the information on their applications. I have called cities to verify residence. I also reviewed medical records to verify the hospitals were charging the County the correct prices for the services provided to the people we paid their medical bills.  I worked closely with the Lewis County Prosecutor and dozens of cases.  I found out one man who had applied for a Public Defense Attorney and County Medical Assistance was not indigent and wasn't even a Lewis County resident! In fact he had a half a million dollar house and dozens of cars and 
I have worked with many hospitals, landlords and funeral homes during my career as the Lewis County Social Services Director.

Edited the Board of County Commissioner minutes ensuring they precise and grammatically correct. 
Condensed the minutes for publication into a Monthly Summary of Minutes.
Typed documents: correspondences, drafts, memos, and emails.
Proofread documents for proper grammar and usage. 
Reviewed and edited the County Clerk's written documents. 
Letter writer as the County Social Service Director to applicants and hospitals.
