One of the first things I remember getting as a child was my passport. My parents, both immigrants from Haiti, wanted my younger sister and I to have the opportunity to see - the world, its people and its beauty. My childhood was dedicated to travel and exploration, giving me the chance to see incredible waterfalls in Bali and beautiful ceremonial offerings in Thailand but at the same time, I also was able to see great need. The need for compassion. The need for solutions. My upbringing contributed to the creation of a passionate and curious individual who is addicted to the growth and the advancement of the collective. For that reason, I've dedicated my academic and professional career to philanthropic and sustainable causes...not because they "look good" on paper, but because they FEEL GOOD and it's through empathy and togetherness that we can make long-lasting and impactful changes on society.
