POPSUGAR

For over two years I was working on a full-time freelance basis with Popsugar.
I worked as the Social Media Consultant and Online Editor for the German fashion section of the company. I was responsible for creating daily content, managing and updating all social platforms, writing articles in German (the language I studied at University) and providing monthly stat reports.

My role also involved attending Mercedes Benz Fashion Weeks as their Online Editor twice a year, and writing reports of the shows for their huge readership.

Acer

Since 2013 I have been providing weekly creative content for Acer. The photographic content which is researched, sourced, styled and created by me is then posted globally on the technology giant’s various social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, alongside text that I write to accompany the images.

I was also hired as the Strategist and initial Community Manager for the Acer Instagram account, in order to get their presence on the platform off the ground. Implementing that account was a huge success, with a large following gained in a very short period of time.

I also often provide copywriting services for the company; compiling engaging text for email, online and print campaigns.

Since 2012 I have been using my social media consultancy skills to work with Hewlett Packard as a member of their Global Influencer Advisory Board.

Alongside nineteen internationally recognised influencers from technology and creative fields, I have been working with hp to help them make informed and strategic decisions for product and communication.

My audience consisted of the heads of PR within Adidas teams from all over the world.

With almost 20 years of industry experience, I spent most of the last decade working in-house at a billion dollar tech company, most recently in the role of Global Social Media Strategy Lead.

I recently jumped the corporate ship and realised it was exactly the right time to start sharing the deep expertise I’ve garnered over my career so far. 

While offering project-based consultancy services and longer term support as a Fractional Director of Social Media, I’m also building a first-of-its-kind platform & peer network for social media professionals.
