I specialize in three types of clients - adults who live in a constant state of WTF-is-going-to-go-wrong-next and want to feel more in control of their lives, professionals who feel trapped in unsatisfying relationships or jobs, and individuals who want to figure out how to deal with feeling uncomfortable without relying on alcohol or other drugs. Substance use is not the problem; it is the symptom. My primary focus is trauma-informed addiction recovery with an emphasis on personal growth. I work with clients who are new to recovery, in long-term recovery, or have loved ones still struggling with substance use. I serve clients throughout Florida via telehealth. I am trained in strength-based approaches that include CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, positive psychology, and solution-focused therapy. I am also a credentialed instructional designer. I build every psychotherapy client a private e-library of therapy content personalized for their needs. In addition to my therapy practice, I design web-based professional development courses and digital materials for mental health professionals.
