I wish I had this either in college, or shortly after. It would have put me way ahead in experience, dealing with the public. The job was excellent hands-on training.

I also handled home basketball public address announcing, and play-by-play for baseball and softball. I taught plenty of basic, College 101, too, but it comes with the territory. I have discovered that I like dealing with freshmen, and many other profs do not..

I also was lucky to learn under some terrific classroom veterans who taught me a lot, too.
